Toby Arrowsmith

Director

Toby is a Director at Intrinsic Equity and has focused on advising and investing in distressed situations since 2008.

He is involved at all stages of the process from origination through to transacting and portfolio management post completion and spends much of his time assisting management teams in their growth strategy.

Toby is non-executive director of Homes Caring for Autism, iESCo and Laidlaw and is part of the senior management team at Abacus and Homebuy. He was shortlisted for Midlands Insider Young Dealmaker of the Year 2011 and has helped Intrinsic win Turnaround Team of the Year for 4 of the last 5 years.

Prior to 2008 he focused on corporate finance transactions across a wide range of industry sectors, working closely with management teams in owner managed businesses.

Toby has previously worked for both a Big 4 and a regional firm of Chartered Accountants in the audit and specialist projects department. He is ACA qualified, has a master’s degree in chemical engineering, and is a member of the Institute for Turnaround.
